Who makes the products?

Every Kallos Naturals product is handmade by me — founder, formulator, packager, and shipper. This is a one-woman-owned, small-batch skincare business rooted in intention and care.

Are your products 100% natural?

Yes. Every formula is made with high-quality, natural, and often organic ingredients — free from synthetic fragrances, preservatives, parabens, or anything unnecessary. If it’s not safe for your skin or the planet, it’s not in our jars.

Do you use organic ingredients?

Whenever possible, yes. Many of our ingredients are Organic or wildcrafted from trusted ethical sources. 

Are your products cruelty-free?

Absolutely. Kallos Naturals is strictly cruelty-free — we never test on animals, and we only work with suppliers who share the same commitment.

glō is formulated for all skin types, including sensitive, acne-prone, and mature skin. It gently removes makeup and buildup without stripping your skin’s natural barrier.

Tallow Lavender Crème - What’s in your tallow cream?

Grass-fed, grass-finished beef tallow, extra-virgin olive oil, and lavender essential oil. That’s it — simple, deeply nourishing, and beautifully soothing.

Can I use it on my face?

Yes! It’s perfect for dry, sensitive, and irritated skin. A little goes a long way.

Is there a scent?

The soft, calming scent of lavender and the natural warmth of tallow. No synthetic fragrance — ever.

Tallow Vanilla Bean Crème (Madagascar) - What makes this version different?

This formulation is infused with real Madagascar vanilla bean for a warm, comforting scent and extra antioxidant benefits. It’s still rich, clean, and nourishing — just with a decadent aromatic twist.

Kalista Mist - What is it and how do I use it?

Kalista Mist is a hydrating botanical toner made with organic rosewater, sweet fern hydrosol, Douglas fir, cucumber, and radish root ferment. Mist it onto clean skin, after makeup, or throughout the day to refresh and tone.

Is it alcohol-free?

Yes — gentle, alcohol-free, and suitable for all skin types.

What is Tamanu oil?

Tamanu oil is a rich, green botanical oil cold-pressed from the seeds of the Tamanu tree (Calophyllum inophyllum), known for its powerful skin-regenerating and anti-inflammatory properties.

Why does the color of Tamanu oil vary?

Tamanu oil can range in color from deep green to rich golden-brown. This variation is completely natural and depends on factors like the region it’s sourced from, the climate, and the drying and extraction process. A deep green hue usually indicates a high chlorophyll content and is often associated with oils sourced from the Pacific Islands. A dark brown or golden-green tone may come from other tropical regions and can be just as effective—each batch is unique, just like nature intended. No matter the shade, our Hygeia Oil is always 100% pure, unrefined Tamanu—rich in nutrients and healing properties.

Can I use it daily?

Absolutely. Apply a few drops to clean skin once or twice daily, as a treatment or moisturizer.

Does it have a scent?

Yes—Tamanu has an earthy, nutty aroma. Its scent is natural and a sign of its purity and potency.

Sourcing & Sustainability

Where do you source your ingredients?

I carefully source from ethical, small-batch producers, including olive oil from my own family orchard in Crete, Greece. Every supplier is vetted for purity, sustainability, and transparency.

Are your products made in small batches?

Yes — always. Small-batch production ensures freshness, potency, and quality control.

What kind of packaging do you use?

We use opal glass, amber or frosted for most products to protect botanical ingredients and extend shelf life. Our packaging is chosen for both function and sustainability.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Pregnancy & Infant Use

At Kallos Naturals, we formulate our products with simple, nourishing ingredients — many of which are traditionally known to be safe for sensitive skin, including for infants and expectant mothers. Our tallow-based creams, for example, are made with grass-fed, grass-finished beef tallow and extra-virgin olive oil — both deeply nourishing and generally well-tolerated. However, some formulations include essential oils, such as lavender, which may require more care during pregnancy or when used on babies. While these are used in low, skin-safe concentrations, we recommend doing a patch test before full use.

As always, we encourage you to consult with your healthcare provider or pediatrician before using any new product during pregnancy or on a child’s skin. If you’re seeking an essential-oil-free version of a product, feel free to reach out — we may be able to create a custom batch for you. Your safety and comfort are always at the heart of what we do.

Storage & Shelf Life

All Kallos Naturals products are made with pure, natural ingredients and are free from synthetic preservatives, stabilizers, or artificial colors. Because of this, they are delicate by nature and require a bit of extra care to maintain their integrity. Our products are naturally preserved using ingredients like radish root ferment, antioxidant-rich oils, and careful formulation practices. However, like any fresh, natural product, they can shift slightly in scent, texture, or color over time — this is completely normal and expected.

To extend the life of your products and preserve their potency:

• Keep out of direct sunlight
(It is best to store in a cool, dark place)
• Avoid heat exposure
(don’t leave your jars in a hot car or sunny windowsill)
• Use clean, dry hands or a spoon/spatula when scooping product to prevent contamination
• Seal jars and bottles tightly after each use to limit air and moisture exposure

Because our products are handcrafted in small batches without preservatives, we recommend using them within 6–12 months of opening for best results.

Lost or Delayed Packages:

While we do everything we can to ensure safe and timely delivery, once a package leaves our hands, it is in the care of the carrier.
